Renowned pianist, Phillip Dyson, is set to perform special concert in support of the Epsom and Ewell Citizens Advice Bureau.

Councillor Sheila Carlson, the Mayor of Epsom and Ewell, chose the charity as one of three to support during her year in office.

Mr. Dyson, an international concert pianist who has garnered widespread acclaim in Europe and across the Atlantic, is currently on a jet-setting tour touching down in Tanzania, Spain, California and New York City.

The virtuoso has broadcasted regularly for the BBC and Classic FM and has performed with many of the world's most prestigious orchestras. Mr. Dyson's recital will feature many of the great pieces in the history of the piano, old and new, including Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata, Chopin's Fantasie-Impromptu and George Gershwin's I've Got Rhythm.

All proceeds from the event, sponsored by National Counties Building Society, Bowles & Co. solicitors, John Williams & Co. accountants and The Leeds Building Society, will be donated to the Epsom and Ewell Citizens Advice Bureau.

Tom Sheriff, manager of the bureau, said: “We are delighted that a performer of Phillip's ability is taking time out of his busy schedule to support the CAB.

"Phillip is a remarkably talented individual, and it'll certainly be a treat to see him perform here in Epsom.”

An Evening With Phillip Dyson will take place on December 10 at Epsom Playhouse.

Tickets are £18, and are available through the Playhouse box office on 01372 742555, or book online at epsomplayhouse.co.uk.
