Hundreds of people attended public exhibitions for the latest redevelopments designs for St Helier Hospital. More than 300 people saw the £219m project unveiled.
Building work could start in 2014 and be completed in 2017.
The redevelopment will include £127m to be spent on a new hospital building which will accommodate 346 beds.
But before then, Epsom and St Helier NHS Trust must submit a detailed planning application and is asking residents for views.
Project director Tim Wilkins said Sutton Hospital would house the clinics at St Helier if demolition takes place as planned in 2013.
He said: “We’re really keen to involve people as we move forward.”
