Accident causes traffic near flyover
A woman has been hospitalised following a collision between a car and a lorry at the Croydon flyover.
The accident occured at about 2.30pm on the roundabout of the A236 and A232.
Police and London Ambulance Service attended the scene.
A London Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: "We were called at 2.25pm to reports of a road traffic collision on the Croydon flyover.
"We sent an ambulance crew who treated one adult woman who was taken to St George's Hospital in Tooting."
She added the woman had been taken to the hospital due to pre-existing conditions rather than injuries sustained in the accident.
