Surrey County Council is asking people to put forward their views on how to improve the county’s heritage service.

An online survey is being run as part of a public value review to find out what people think of the service which allows people to search archives to trace family members and find out about the county’s history.

Denise Saliagopoulos, the council’s cabinet member for community services and the 2012 Games, said: “We’ve asked for people’s views and ideas at the very start of this public value review so residents can help shape the way Surrey’s heritage service is run for years to come and ensure it provides the very best value for money.”
