Police have released more images to help catch the greedy thugs who looted and vandalised shops in Colliers Wood in August.
This week, Merton Police released 48 images - some new and some re-issued from a previous appeal - obtained from CCTV photos taken during the ransacking of the Tandem Centre and Priory Retail Park on Monday, August 9.
Thugs also targeted the nearby Total petrol station, whose manager described the greedy vandals as a "migration of wildebeest".
Merton Police said 23 images had been identified from a previous appeal and a spokesman thanked the public for an "outstanding" response.
Hundreds of people took part in the attack on Colliers Wood, where a police van was attacked by rioters throwing bottles and rocks and, at one point, firefighters had to rescue looters trapped in PC World.
A standoff developed after 9.30pm after police withdrew from the Tandem Centre, where the rioters broke into the shops including Sports Direct, JD Sports, PC World and Mothercare.
If readers can identify those in the pictures, they should contact the police on 020 8649 3206 or email: VWMailbox-.OpWithernTeam@met.police.uk and quote the reference number attached to the image.
