An elderly women saw her garden get a revamp thanks to some horticultural helpers.
85-year-old Betty Smith had her overgrown garden transformed by volunteers from the Vine Project on Monday (October 31).
As part of VineWorks, a handy man project funded by Reed Business Information, the Wallington resident had her fences repainted and dilapidated ones replaced.
Mrs Smith said: "It will be lovely to be able to look outside and see a pleasant looking garden with some flowers."
Volunteers fixed and repainted railing and trellises as well as painting and filling plant pots with winter pansies.
A bird feeder was even hung up to attract some wildlife into Mrs Smith's garden so she can sit out and enjoy the view.
