Crystal Palace's miserly defence has set a new club record by going 619 minutes without conceding.
When Kenny Miller scored for Cardiff past Julian Speroni on Saturday, it was the first time the Eagles' defence has been breached since John Carew's 80th minute equaliser in the 2-2 draw with West Ham United on October 1.
They then went six games without conceding a goal and looked to be on their way to another clean sheet before Miller's 69th minute opener.
The club also went six league and cup games without conceding in their first season in 1905 but, with no finer details of the games, it is impossible to ascertain how many minutes the run was.
The next longest run was 600 minutes in September to October 1909 when in Southern League Division One.
The post-war record was 585 minutes between April and August 1978 in Division Two.
