By Shay Reading, Colliers Wood
The clocks have changed, the nights are long and dark. Perfect conditions, of course, for the selfish dog owners of Colliers Wood.
Yes, it's the time of year when some of our so-called caring dog lovers let their dogs dispose of their dinners on our streets and in our parks, under the cover of darkness.
Without the glare of daylight to shame you into action, you turn our paths into unsightly, smelly chicanes for our children to navigate on their way to school.
You turn a Sunday afternoon with the little ones in our wonderful recreation ground, into a game of dog doo roulette.
So, please can you stop, can you please pick it up and put it into the bin? There, we've asked nicely.
But the trouble is that the people who let their four legged friends do this, are the kind of people who couldn't care less about our plea.
Hopefully one or two will.
Unfortunately the blackness of a moonless night can hide a multitude of sins for the lazy dog owners of our beloved Collywood.
