Carshalton College is inviting prospective learners and the general public to visit their Partnership Event with Orchard Hill providing information on helpful local organisations supporting Life & Work Skills Courses at the College and at Orchard Hill on Wednesday 9 November, from 4.30pm to 7.30pm.

There will be 20 stands based in our in-house training restaurant Nightingales transformed for the night to welcome visitors and collect information and gain advice on local resources available to support learners who have learning difficulties/ disabilities becoming involved in the local community and accessing a range of services and opportunities during their time at college and after they leave college.

Learning Support staff from our Life and Work Skill courses will be available to discuss the opportunities for work experience and travel training processes for students with moderate to severe learning difficulties. Learners are empowered at the College to become as independent as possible and to manage their own risks safely, at work, in college and to and from college.
