Baby taken to hospital after being hit by motorcyclist
A motorcyclist collided with a baby in a pushchair in Streatham yesterday afternoon.
The incident took place shortly after 12.40pm on Streatham Common North, at the junction with Valley Road.
Police asked the motorcyclist to stop but they accelerated and crashed into the pushchair, which was being pushed by a woman.
A spokesperson for the London Ambulance service said the child, who is believed to be two years old, was treated for minor head injuries and taken to St George's hospital.
Police investigating the incident said no other injuries were reported and no arrests had been made.
