Are you aged 14 to 18? Do you want to tell the world what matters to you - and pick up a cash prize for doing it?

The Wimbledon Guardian wants to hear about an issue close to your heart in our new Your Voice competition.

We need passionate writers and film makers from Merton to tell us what’s on their mind in a 300 word article or 60 second video.

We’re looking for opinions on everything from gangs, riots and exams to how young people are presented in the media - or any other issue you care about.

At the Wimbledon Guardian, we often write about what politicians, business leaders, teachers and lecturers think about issues affecting young people - but now is the chance to have your voice heard.

The top video and article, as picked by the Wimbledon Guardian team, will earn their creator a £50 prize and will be featured in our newspaper later this year.

Entries will also be posted on our website, wimbledonguardian.co.uk.

Remember - entries should be from Merton residents, or those attending a Merton school, aged 14 to 18, about one issue of your choice and no more than 300 words or 60 seconds long.

Let us know your name and age when you enter. Email entries to yourvoice@wimbledonguardian.co.uk, or post them on our Facebook page – facebook.com/wimbledonguardian. The competition closes on December 2.

Those under 16 should get permission from a parent or guardian to enter the competition.
