An unemployed man who stabbed his landlady fourteen times has been sentenced to eight years in prison.
Nabil Soudi, 25, from Brixton, attacked the 40-year-old woman at her house in Branksome Road on March 4 this year, the Inner London Crown court heard.
Police officers found Soudi covered in blood and discovered a three inch kitchen knife at the scene.
The woman, who suffered stab wounds to her abdomen and stomach, was taken to a south London hospital and later released.
Soudi, of Branksome Road, pleaded guilty to wounding with intent and was sentenced today.
