An alleyway near a pub in Raynes Park has been cordoned off by police who have made an arrest in connection with an alleged sexual assault.
A 19-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the alleged attack in an alleyway near the Raynes Park Tavern in Coombe Lane.
The man was arrested at the scene and taken to a south London police station at about 3.30am this morning (Wednesday, October 12), where he remains in custody.
The victim, a woman in her 20s, had allegedly been assaulted in the alleyway and more information about what happened is being sought by the Metropolitan Police's specialist sexual offences investigation team, Sapphire.
