This affectionate pooch who loves to play with other dogs and humans is looking for a new home in the Kingston area.

Whippet Jasper, currently being fostered in Surbiton through rescue charity Scruples’, is quite fit and loves running after balls.

Ideally the four year old would be placed with a Greyhound, Lurcher or another Whippet so he could have a mate to scamper round the park with but is also happy living as an only dog.

He has been neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped and is looking for an experienced owner who could give him plenty of exercise.

Jasper found his way to Scruples, based in Devon, when his owners decided they didn’t have enough time to give him the exercise he needed.

Scruples trustee Rachel Hayball said: “When he came to us he was quite an excitable lad but with the right amount of exercise and interactive training by his foster carer he has turned out to be a wonderful companion and a pure joy to have around.”

Jasper responds well to a quiet and orderly environment so a household without young children would be preferable.
