A fancy dress shop gutted by a fire during the August riots is set to open it's doors again in Debenhams this weekend.

The Party Superstore, in Lavender Hill, Clapham Junction has been closed for two months after being destroyed by yobs.

It will operate as a concession within Debenhams in Clapham Junction, which was also hit by looters.

The shop has been granted an initial 18 month contract by the department store to sell fancy dress and accessories from a 2,000 sq ft site.

There will be a party with fancy dress, balloon modellers and face painters to mark the occasion.

Duncan Mundell, managing director of the party superstore said: "The support from Debenhams has been brilliant. I never thought that we'd be able to reopen only two months after we were forced to closed.

"We can't wait to get everyone kitted out for Halloween in our new home."

Jenny Howes, deputy store manager of Debenhams Clapham Junction said: "We are just across the road from the Party Superstore's original site and our staff and customers were saddened by the damage done to this well-loved shop."

Mr Mundell also runs charity Street Kids Rescue and invests the shop's profits to the cause.
