On August 8 in Braunton, North Devon my wife lost control of her car and ran into a lamppost. A couple on holiday in the area who were following behind her called an ambulance and waited until she was taken to hospital.
Although they gave their names and addresses to the police this, apparently, now becomes part of the police report and cannot be divulged due to the Data Protection Act.
All I know is they live in the Epsom area and if they are reading this I would like to thank them and tell them that my wife sustained three broken ribs and a number of very colourful bruises.
