Pet owners have the chance to get their furry friends blessed at a special church service in south Croydon this month.
The annual pet blessing day at St Peter's Church will take place on September 24 at 3pm to raise money for the veterinary charity PDSA.
A collection at the service will go towards the charity's PetAid Hospital in Hurst Road, Croydon, which provides free treament for sick and injured animals.
PDSA fundraiser Anthony Bates said: "We hope all animal lovers and pet owners will come along and celebrate the great friendship between people and their pets, while supporting the valuable work PDSA carries out."
Previous pet blessing services have proved popular in the past. All types of pets are welcome and refreshments will be served.
