A man has been charged with setting fire to House of Reeves furniture store during Croydon's night of rioting and looting.
Gordon Edward Thompson, 33, of Waddon Road, Croydon, was charged with arson with intent to endanger life last Monday at Reeves Furniture Store, Reeves Corner, Croydon.
He was also charged with two counts of burglary in Croydon town centre and one count of violent disorder on the same day.
He has been remanded in custody to appear at Croydon Magistrates' court this morning.
