Julian Speroni - 8: One of Palace’s better performers. Pulled off a string of good saves but couldn’t do anything about either goal.

Peter Ramage – 6: Goal-line clearance in the first half ensured Palace kept their lead, but gave away the free-kick that led to Posh’s equaliser.

Andrew Davies – 7: Looked reasonably comfortable with Paddy at centre-back, but then most of Peterborough’s threat was down the flanks.

Paddy McCarthy – 7: Will have harder days in the Palace back four, we will need our captain to be at his best for the better teams.

Ryan McGivern – 6: Not the best debut in the world for the player on-loan from Manchester City, had a tough time against an average Peterborough attack.

Darren Ambrose – 6: Did not get into the game as the Palace midfield became second best in every department to Peterborough as the game wore on.

Kagisho Dikgacoi – 6: Always on the back-foot in the second half as Palace toiled.

David Wright – 6: Had too much work to do defensively from his deep lying position that stopped him getting forward to any great effect.

Jonathan Parr – 6: Showed his versatility by starting on the left side of midfield and dropping into defence.

Sean Scannell - 8: Palace’s best outfield player, linked well with Murray, engaged in some wing play and caused problems through the middle with his pace.

Glenn Murray – 7: Showed a bit of what he is about – flick-ons, holding the ball up, strong challenges. Had to limp off with a twisted ankle.

Subs

Wilfried Zaha (Scannell, 70) - 7: Looked lively. Can Dougie accommodate Scannell, Murray and Zaha in the same starting XI?

Jermaine Easter (Murray, 77) – 6: Needs to get amongst the goals quickly.

Owen Garvan (McGivern, 79) - 6: Saw Parr move to left back as Garvan went to left-midfield. Little time to make an impact from there.
