Fire crews had to cut a driver out of her car following a collision last night.
The accident happened at 11.10pm on Homesdale Road near Park Road in Croydon.
Fire crews from Woodside and Croydon attended and had to cut the roof off one car.
Two ambulances and a single responder from the London Ambulance Service attended the scene and treated two people, believed to be a man and a woman.
They were taken to St George's Hospital in Tooting for treatment, though it is unknown what injuries were sustained.
A police spokesman said: "Police were called at approximately 11.15pm yesterday to reports that two vehicles had been involved in a collision at the junction of Park Road and Holmesdale Road. "LFB and LAS were also in attendance and one of the drivers had to be removed with LFB assistance from her vehicles. "She was taken to a south London hospital by ambulance - her injuries were not believed to be life threatening or changing. "The junction remained closed for removal of the vehicles. All roads were reopened by approximately 1am on July 19."
