Love was in the air when shoppers were treated to a romantic themed street party in Weybridge.
The Summer Romance street party, which took place in Queens Road and York Road on July 9, included vintage car displays, a fancy dress competition and children’s games, with proceeds going to the nearby Sam Beare Hospice.
There was also live music in the form of local group Ellie and Frank, keeping passersby and shoppers entertained.
Cherie Plaice, owner of Slate clothes shop in Queens Road, said: “The whole event went down very well and it was lovely to see local people supporting the independent shops in these difficult times.”
