An aspiring film director from Shirley hopes to make his mark in the industry by organising a small film festival at a local pub.
Former Croydon College film student Scott Hodges, 22, will be showcasing his own work as well as short films made by other young up-and-coming directors on Monday, September 11, from 7.30pm. The event - Film Nite 2006 - takes place at the Wheatsheaf pub, in nearby West Wickham, where Scott, from Wickham Road, is currently working as a barman.
