Police have ended their enquiries into a mysterious knifing in Epsom after a 36-year-old man arrived at Epsom Hospital with knife injuries to his left arm.
The man was taken to Epsom General Hospital in a silver Vauxhall Astra at approximately 10pm on Monday, June 27, by an unknown driver.
It is not known how the wound on his left forearm was caused.
After a thorough and forensic investigation of the area, police officers have been unable to establish how the injuries were caused and have said that the man has not supported the police investigation.
A spokesperson for Surrey police said: “All enquiries into this incident have now ceased.
“Members of the public should be reassured there is no reason to believe they are at any risk of being assaulted in Epsom.”
