I do sympathise with the reader who had a bad experience with a parking ticket.
I too was given a ticket while parked in a properly painted bay outside Hudson's restaurant in Lower Richmond Road at 6.35pm.
I am a disabled driver with two forms of cancer and as an OAP of 79 years I would like to know just where we can park!.
Needless to say I am contesting the parking fee.
