Pet Detectives were called to Earlsfield this week to search for a missing cat.
The Hall family notified Animal Search UK when their 2-year-old, cream-coloured cat, Buddy, disappeared on June 1 (Wednesday).
The search team, led by former police officer Tom Watkins, turned up fully equipped with walkie-talkies, rescue traps and patrol vehicles to hunt for the missing moggy.
Animal Search UK formed 12 years ago.
Mr Watkins said that owners often don't have much time to look for missing pets because of work and family commitments.
He said: “Our professional, uniformed search teams can usually be at any location in the UK within 48 hours to help.”
The team have distributed photographs of Buddy and conducted door-to-door searches of the area.
Anyone with information on Buddy should contact Animal Search UK on 0800 4320 340 and quote case reference 34768.
