Police have increased patrols in Putney after a spate of mobile phone snatches in the area.
People talking on their phones are being targeted by bike-riding robbers, who cycle past and take the phones off the victims before speeding off, with the most recent reported snatch happening on May 31.
Some of the muggings were committed by a lone white man, some by two white men and the lastest one by a black man.
Sergeant Roger Chapple from Thamesfield Safer Neighbourhoods Team (SNT) said: "The advice we would give to people is to be aware of your surroundings, especially when using mobile phones after exiting stations."
