An awards ceremony for Surrey residents who dedicate their time to helping the community was held last week.
Surrey Community Health (SCH) held the event, at the HG Wells Conference Centre in Woking, to thank staff and volunteers who had gone the extra mile to help patients.
Newsreader Nicholas Owen hosted the ceremony, which included categories for Unsung Hero, Volunteer of the Year, Team of the Year, Outstanding Innovation, Patient's Award and Lifetime Achievement.
SCH Chief Executive Alison Edgington said: “The staff awards was a wonderful event which makes us remember just how lucky we are to have such fabulous community health staff in Surrey.
“I am proud of all our staff who work tirelessly, often going above and beyond the call of duty, to make sure patients receive the best care possible.”
SCH provides care through community hospitals, health centres, clinics and acute hospitals across the county.
