A business psychologist with a penchant for gloves has been the latest Apprentice casualty.

Edna Agbarha, 36, who once said "limp handshakes are unforgivable" was the latest apprentice to hear the dreaded words from Lord Sugar this week.

The former contestant, from Streatham, said she had no doubt she would be on the show when she applied.

Ms Agbarha said: "I knew I was going to be on the show, but it felt great when they actually told me. I felt on top of the world."

She added: "The Apprentice is one of my favourite programmes. I used to be one of those people who watched it and shouted 'no, don't do that' or 'what are you doing?', but when I was actually there it was a lot harder than I though it would be. I felt privileged to be part of it."

Once a winning project manager on team Venture, on episode two, when they had to develop a smartphone application, Ms Agbarha is setting up her own app, Edna's Talent Booster, which is due to be launched on June 19.

She said: "It tells you what your top three talents are and your bottom three and it will help you develop any talent you want to develop."

Ms Agbarha, who has lived in Streatham since 1998 and recently appeared alongside MP Chuka Umunna at the Celebrating Streatham event, said she "absolutely loves the place".

She said: "Streatham is amazing. It has all the parks and the green, but it also has wonderful restaurants and great nightlife if you're into it. I'm happy living here."

The sacked apprentice was also all praise for Lord Sugar.

Ms Agbarha said: "He was very passionate about sharing his ideas of what he believes makes a good business. I have benefitted greatly from his feedback."

When asked what the future held for her, Ms Agbarha said she would invest in her smartphone app idea and hinted at maybe launching a range of gloves.
