Youngsters line up for a race at the Kimber Adventure Playground in Wandsworth
About 170 youngsters flocked an adventure playground to take part in skateboarding and BMX competitions and meet professionals.
The event last Thursday aimed to bring the community together and give young people a chance to meet professional riders and skateboarders at the Kimber Adventure Playground, in Kimber Road, Wandsworth.
The community safety police team, Chlamydia screening advisors and career guides from South Thames College, also attended.
Organisers said they hoped it would become an annual event “open to all BMX and skateboarding novices”.
