The Wandsworth Arts Festival was officially launched last week at the Festival Hub in Southside Shopping Centre.
There are more than 40 events planned for the next few weeks and a number of them are taking place this weekend.
'Tilt's London Liming' on May 15 promises a night where spoken word meets carnival, including performances by Jean 'Binta' Brezze Alongside Adisa, Caroline Bird, Melanie Abrahams as host and special guests Alexandre de Great and BAC's Beatbox Academy. Battersea Arts Centre Café.
The Pump House Gallery in Battersea Park hosts theatre company People Show for a week of fantastic performances, transforming the Gallery to present living local stories from its 150 years history. This runs until May 15.
On May 22 the festival will close with an outdoor celebration along Putney riverside with 15 acts, exhibitions, workshops and food and craft stalls.
