Leisure centre's jumble sale for cancer charity
A leisure centre will hold a jumble sale as part of its efforts to raise funds for Cancer Research UK.
The event comes two weeks before a group of staff from the Malden Centre are due to take part in the women-only Race for Life on Sunday, June 26.
The jumble sale will form part of an open day on Saturday, June 11, that also includes street dance and paper craft for children, and salsa and tap dancing for adults.
Any donations for the jumble sale should be given to receptionists at the centre in Blagdon Road, New Malden, between Monday, May 9, and Monday, June 6.
Street dance will take place 1-2pm, tots’ fun time 2-3pm and disco dots and paper craft 2-3pm. The salsa dancing will take place 3-4pm, and tap dancing 4-5pm
