Steve Parish has admitted Crystal Palace could lose Neil Danns this summer while a permanent move for James Vaughan may be too expensive.

Out-of-contract Danns has so far refused to sign a new deal at the club with his current contract set to expire next month.

Hull are believed to be favourites to land the 28-year-old and although Eagles manager Dougie Freedman is still hopeful of convincing Danns to stay, co-chairman Parish has admitted the midfielder could be on his way because he wants top flight football.

"I think Dougie will have another conversation with Neil," said Eagles co-chairman Parish.

"Neil is 28 now and would like a shot at playing in the Premier League so I think he is going to look at what is on the table for him.

"We have a deal on the table and we will go from there."

Vaughan spent the majority of the season on loan at Palace from Everton, making 30 appearances and ending the season as leading goalscorer with nine goals.

While the Eagles agreed first option at an agreed value for the 22 year-old when extending his loan in January, others are now thought to be interested in signing him at a higher price.

"There are people interested in James and we are interested in him," said Parish.

"But we have a different point of view on valuation.

"We had agreed an option on him at a value but they might want a different value."

Right-back Nathaniel Clyne, ever-present this season, is another likely to attract interest from other clubs but still has a year left to run on his contract.

"Nathaniel had a fantastic season and is a lot of people's favourite for player of the year," said Parish.

"But he has a year left to run on his contact and at the end of that year we will get compensation for him anyway so the situation with him is less urgent.

"Saying that though, if we get the right bids and we believe we can do better with the money, then we will look at that."
