Prince William took a break from his Royal Wedding preparations to have a game of football in Battersea Park on Monday.
The 28-year-old Prince played with friends in an hour-long eight-a-side match against a team which featured members of radio station Xfm.
According to the station’s website: “The Prince played central defence - and one of our team claims Wills gave him a dead leg.
“He had no airs and graces... he just turned up and started playing.”
Prince William’s team thumped their opponents 5-0.
A spokeswoman for Clarence House said she was unable to comment on private events.
