Croydon Business has confirmed that BBC royal correspondent and former I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here contestant Jennie Bond will host this year's Croydon Best of Borough awards ceremony.

The glitzy award ceremony, which will be held at Addington Palace, on November, 23, celebrates the successes of Croydon's business community. The news reader will be on hand to reveal some royal gossip and how she managed to contest the bushtucker trials on the hit TV show.

Croydon Business is encouraging businesses and organisations across Croydon to enter this years's Best of Borough Awards (BoBs) before the closing date at the end of the month.

The awards are designed to recognise and award successful businesses - no matter how large or small they are.

Categories include best employer, best international business, best new business, best retailer, best new product and best family business.

You can enter your own organisation or be nominated for a category by a third party.

To enter you must complete a questionnaire which is available online at croydonbobs.com or ring Croydon Best of Business for a hard copy on 020 8686 2233.

The closing date for entries is September 29 and finalists will receive two free tickets to the Best of Business Awards party.
