The AGM this year will be on May 11th in our usual meeting place, the Crusader Hall at the corner of Boundary Road.
In response to requests, the time has been brought forward to 7.30pm.
For our guest speaker this year we hope to have Steve O’Connell, the Greater London Assembly member for Croydon and Sutton.
The Assembly has two main areas of responsibility - holding the Mayor to account, and looking at the issues that affect London.
Mr O’Connell has been speaking recently, for example, about squatters, about dangerous dogs and about driverless tube trains.
This promises to be an excellent opportunity to hear and to question someone who has considerable power over the way that London is run.
