Van fire causes traffic mayhem
A van fire caused traffic mayhem yesterday on one of the borough’s busiest roads.
Epsom fire fighters were called to the incident on the 217 between Sutton and Banstead at 5.15pm.
Traffic on the so-called ‘mad mile’ was kept to a standstill on the northbound route for up to an hour.
