A motorist was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving after a cyclist was killed in a collision yesterday.
Police and London Ambulance Service were called at about 6.15am to reports of a van in collision with a bicycle on Sandy Lane South, near the junction with Woodcote Road, Wallington.

A man, believed to be in his 40s and the rider of the bicycle, was pronounced dead at the scene at 7.11am.
His next of kin have yet to be identified and no formal identification has taken place.
The white Vauxhall van stopped at the scene.
Its driver was arrested and questioned about the incident at a south London police station.
He was subsequently bailed to a date in March pending further inquiries.
Officers from the Road Death Investigation Unit at Hampton Traffic Garage are investigating the incident.
