Alex Marrow completed his permanent move to Crystal Palace this morning for an undisclosed fee.
The 20-year-old has been on loan from Premier League side Blackburn Rovers since the start of the season and has impressed with a number of top performances in midfield.
His contract at Blackburn, where he has yet to make a first team appearance, was up at the end of the season and they agreed to let him go for a fee believed to be less than six figures.
Marrow, who contract lasts until 2013, said on the official Palace website: "i have enjoyed my time here and have been impressed with the quality of the squad.
"It has been good to get some games under my belt and now I am looking forward to working hard and improving my game in a competitive league."
Caretaker manager Dougie Freedman added: "I have been very impressed by Alex since I saw him in a reserve game for Blackburn Rovers and he has really shown his quality during his games in a Palace shirt.
"It is good to see him join the club permanently and I am sure he will become an important part of our squad for some time to come."
