A Tulse Hill girl who was the subject of a Twitter campaign after being reported missing has been found.
Serena Beakhurst, 14, went missing after leaving for a beauty therapy college course in Mitcham Road, Tooting, on December 15.
The appeal made national news after celebrities including Stephen Fry and former Prime Minister Gordon Brown's wife, Sarah, tweeted for her safe return.
Today, police said she had been found during the early hours of Wednesday in the Wandsworth area and was doing well.
As well as the Twitter campaign, which also included the likes of actor Simon Pegg and Manchester United footballer Rio Ferdinand, a Facebook group was set up to aid the appeal.
