Andy Scott says he has a list of targets he wants to bring to Brentford during the transfer window, but is keeping his cards close to his chest.

Midfielders David Hunt and Kirk Hudson joined Blue Square Premier Crawley Town and their title rivals AFC Wimbledon, respectively, on loan over the Christmas period.

Hunt is eyeing a permanent move to the Sussex Red Devils, while Hudson will be at the Dons until the end of the season with the Bees monitoring his progress.

Scott, linked with the Sheffield United job last week, is also trying to find Ryan Blake a temporary home away from Griffin Park as he bids to free up space in his squad to strengthen a League One play-off assault in 2011.

Millwall striker Lewis Grabban and fellow Lion Mark Laird are thought to feature on the short-list, but that is as far as the 38-year-old will go in revealing the men he thinks can boost resources.

“I’ve got players in mind that I’d like to bring in and areas I’d like to strengthen,” he said.

“We’ve got a list of players I want to bring in during the transfer window. Hopefully, they will improve us and I’m more than confident the Board will be open to them coming in. If we can get them, then great.

“I’m linked with a lot of players, but until I sit down and think about what players I want to bring in, I won’t be giving any names out.”
