A 17-year-old boy from Streatham has been gunned down at a Peckham estate.
Sylvester Akapalara was found suffering from a gunshot wound by police officers in the fourth floor stairwell at Heron House, Pelican Estate, on December 29.
London Ambulance Service attended the scene, but the teenager was pronounced dead at 5.15pm. Police had been called at 4.30pm.
A post mortem gave the cause of death as a gunshot wound to the neck and chest.
Officers also found a 17-year-old with a stab wound in Gannet House and were alerted to an 18-year-old who presented himself to a south London hospital also suffering from a stab wound.
They were both treated and discharged from hospital.
Officers are treating all three incidents as linked at this stage.
Five people have been arrested so far. Two teenagers were released with no further action and a 17-year-old has been bailed pending further enquiries.
Sodiq Adeojo, 18, Of Shurland Gardens, Peckham, and a 17-year-old boy were charged with Mr Akapalara's murder and appeared at Camberwell Green Magistrates' Court yesterday (January 3).
An incident room has opened under DCI Gordon Allison (Trident).
