American footballing stars touched down at Parish Church Junior School, Croydon, on Thursday as 32 youngsters became quarter-backs, line-backs, and running-backs for the morning.
In the week that the Denver Broncos were celebrating their Superbowl success, an NFL grassroots team was touring 20 Croydon schools. But the pupils did not need to be built like fridges or weighed down with pads to have a good time - they played a non-contact version of the game.
