Richmond’s Edna Cullen skipped one of the winning rinks on which she was joined by clubmate Marjorie Bennett and former Richmond bowler Barbara Astill, now of host club King George Field, in their 20-16 success.

Other winning skips were Margaret Craig of Wey Valley (21-18) and Pat Bourne of Croydon (31-21) while skips on the other rinks were Pauline Clark (Egham), Sheila Stead (Camberley) and Sharon Rickman (Sutton).

Surrey will face Kent or Sussex in the next round at King George Field on December 12.
