Police are appealing for witnesses following an armed robbery at Homebase in Croydon.

On Monday 15 November, 740am four men entered the Homebase car park in Purley Way.

The men waited for staff to open the store and then threatened them and made out they were had a gun.

They forced the members of staff into an office then tied them up and demanded staff open the store's safe.

After stealing cash from the safe and car keys from the staff, the men made off in two stolen cars belonging to members of staff.

The two cars are still outstanding and police are keen to recover them.

They are a Black Ford Fiesta, registration LC04 WTM, and a Grey Ford Focus Zetec, registration LB55 YMD.
