Five men accused of raiding a petrol station and fleeing with £62,600 are due to appear in court today.
The group was said to have robbed a cash-in-transit van parked outside Total petrol station, in Lower Richmond Road, in Richmond, at about 10.30am on Tuesday.
Andre Abrahams, 25, Gladstone Allen, 19, Ishmael Baptiste, 20, of Melrose Avenue, Mitcham, Surrey, Romaine Gayle, 17, of Wandle Way, London, and Nico White-Channer, 19, were all due to appear at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court today.
Abrahams, of no fixed address, along with Allen and White-Channer, both of Huntingfield Road, south-west London, have also been charged with attempting to murder Christopher Drake and Anthony Gayle in Ritherdon Road, south-west London, on August 13 this year.
The trio are also accused of possessing a firearm with intent to endanger life on August 13.
