An elderly woman has died following a blaze at her home in Epsom.
Surrey Fire and Rescue were called to the scene at Bracken Path, Epsom, just after 11.20am on Saturday (November 13).
Witnesses told how a registered nurse, who lives nearby, administered first aid before paramedics arrived at the scene.
Over 20 fire fighters tackled the blaze, which caused substantial damage to the bottom level of the property.
A spokeswoman for Surrey Police said: “Officers attended the incident along with Surrey Fire and Rescue where the sole occupant of the house, an elderly woman, was pronounced dead at the scene."
