A motorcyclist has been killed in a crash with two cars.

The man is his 50s died when his black Honda motorcycle crashed with a silver Volkswagon Golf and a blue Audi A4.

The motorcyclist was travelling on Burwood Road from Hersham towards Seven Hills Road when it collided with the two cars travelling in the opposite direction at 8.20am on Saturday.

Emergency services attended the scene but the motorcyclist died from his injuries.

The driver of the Golf was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving whilst over the prescribed alcohol limit.

He is currently in police custody.

No one else was hurt in the collision.

The road was closed off for a number of hours while an investigation was carried out.

Surrey Police are now appealing for any witnesses who may have either seen the collision, or the vehicles prior to it, to come forward.
