The Rotary club of Coulsdon took up their annual spot at this year’s Old Coulsdon Village Fair, held at the Old Coulsdon Recreation Ground last Saturday, 3rd July.
This year the club returned to two of it favourite stall ideas, ‘Roll-a-Penny’ and ‘Guess the number of sweets in a jar’.
The beautiful weather brought out large numbers of visitors to the fair and the members from Coulsdon Rotary club were kept busy at their pitch all afternoon.
Brian French, organiser of the stalls, said that “Although it has been a long and hot day, it has been a very worthwhile exercise for us and I feel confident that when everything is added up, we will have beaten last year’s record and topped over £100 for our charity fund.”
Coulsdon Rotary Club meets at Chipstead Golf Club every Monday for lunch and would welcome new members.
