Notre Dame School’s U12 athletics team were crowned national Catholic girls champions for the second year running on Sunday, June 20.
The Cobham school’s team travelled to St Columba’s College in St Albans to defend the title they won at St George’s College in Weybridge last year.
This time round they won four gold medals, two silver and three bronze, ensuring they once again were awarded the overall accolade.
Headteacher David Plummer said: “I am thrilled with the back to back victory and the girls look strong enough for a triple crown next year as most of them are a year younger.
“We seem to be blessed with girls who can run, throw and jump and coaches to match the girls’ talents.”
