A woman who was left paralysed after being stabbed in the neck in Little Bookham has given birth to a second baby after the attack.
Abigail Witchalls, 31, suffered horrific injuries when a knifeman left her for dead on a bridle path in Little Bookham in April 2005.
She was 10 weeks pregnant at the time of the stabbing, which left her with a severed spinal chord.
Mrs Witchalls has given birth to a healthy baby girl, named Rebecca Grace, at St Georges Hospital, Tooting, on Sunday, June 6.
She and husband Benoit also have two sons, Joseph, 6, who witnessed the attack, and Dominic, 4, who was born a few months after it in 2005.
Her attacker is believed to have been 23-year-old Richard Cazaly. Five days after Mrs Witchalls stabbing, Cazaly drove to Scotland, where he took an overdose of paracetamol two days later. In his car detectives found a bag of knives and two suicide notes, including one they called an "implied confession".
